Every guest’s needs are different. This guide explains how to use the resort map, what to ask before booking, and how Savannah Lakes Guest Services can help you choose a stay that fits your comfort, mobility, and arrival needs.

Plan Your Stay by What Matters Most

Shorter Walks to Amenities

Use the resort map to request a site or cottage closer to the clubhouse, pool area, bathhouse/laundry, or activity zones.

Easier RV Arrival

Guests with larger rigs, tow vehicles, or limited backing comfort may prefer pull-through RV sites when available.

Quieter Stay Areas

Guests who are sensitive to noise or prefer less activity should ask about quieter site areas away from busier amenity hubs.

Service Animal Planning

Service and assistive animals are treated in accordance with ADA and fair housing rules. Service or assistive animals may enter the pool area but must be attended by their owner.

Use the Resort Map Before You Book

Color-coded site map of Savannah Lakes RV Resort, showing locations of RV sites, cottages, amenities, roads, ponds, parking, and a legend for reference.

The resort map is the best starting point for planning a smoother stay. Guests can use it to understand where RV sites, cottages, the clubhouse, pool area, bathhouse/laundry, dog park, pavilion, and walking areas are located before selecting a site type or contacting the team.

What to look for on the map

  • Proximity to clubhouse and pool area
  • Proximity to bathhouse and laundry
  • Distance from higher-activity zones
  • Preferred loop or site area
  • Nearby parking and arrival route
  • Dog park access if traveling with a service animal or pet

RV Site Planning for Accessibility & Ease

Pull-Through Sites

Pull-through sites may be helpful for guests who prefer easier arrival and departure, especially when traveling with larger rigs, tow vehicles, or reduced backing confidence.

Back-In & Lakefront Sites

Back-in and lakefront sites may be preferred by guests who want a calmer view or specific location. Guests with mobility considerations should confirm surface, route, and amenity proximity before booking.

Monthly & Longer Stays

For monthly stays, guests should review rig standards, billing, electric fees, and documentation requirements before booking. For comfort and convenience, long-stay guests should also ask about proximity to laundry, bathhouse, clubhouse, and walking routes.

Cottage Planning Questions to Ask

Savannah Lakes offers furnished cottages, but guests should not assume that every cottage layout, entry, bathroom, bedroom, or route will meet accessibility needs. Contact Guest Services before booking if anyone in your party needs specific entry, bathroom, parking, bed-access, or mobility features.

Ask before booking if you need:

  • Step-free or low-step access
  • Parking close to the cottage
  • Shorter walking distance to amenities
  • Specific bathroom or shower features
  • Space for mobility devices
  • A quieter cottage location
  • Pet-friendly or service-animal planning

Amenity Access & Common Area Notes

Pool, Hot Tub & Splash Pad

Pool/spa/splash pad hours are 8 AM to 10 PM. No lifeguard is on duty, and all use is at the guest’s own risk. Special posted rules at the pool area must be followed.

Quiet hours are 10 PM to 8 AM, and buildings including the store, clubhouse, and pool areas are closed during quiet hours.

Swimming is not permitted in the lakes. Guests should use caution around lakefront areas, and the resort strongly suggests that anyone using the lakefront areas be accompanied by another person capable of assisting in an emergency.

Golf carts and motorized vehicles are not allowed on walking paths or lakefront areas. Parking is available at the clubhouse.

Service Animals, Assistive Animals & Pets

Savannah Lakes follows ADA and fair housing requirements where applicable. Current resort rules state that exceptions to pet restrictions will be made pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act and fair housing laws, and that service or assistive animals may enter the pool area but must be attended by their owner.

Planning tips

  • Note service-animal or pet-related needs when booking.
  • Ask Guest Services about site location if quick outdoor access is important.
  • Review pet rules if traveling with non-service pets.
  • Keep animals attended and follow posted resort rules.
